The DTC P0135 on Opel indicates a problem in the heater circuit of the first lambda sensor (oxygen sensor) in the first cylinder bank. This sensor plays a crucial role in adjusting the fuel mixture by transmitting exhaust gas composition data to the engine control unit (ECU). The built-in heater helps the sensor reach its operating temperature more quickly, especially during cold starts.
On Opel vehicles such as the Astra H, Astra J, Corsa D, Insignia, Zafira B, and Vectra C, this error can occur due to a burned-out heating element in the sensor, issues with the fuse, or damaged wiring.
